Question:How long have you been in business?
Answer:ERT Security opened in June of 1989 as a life safety consulting business and in 2007 expanded into a full service life safety company with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
 
Question:What is your primary product or service?
Answer:ERT Security is a full service life safety company offering sales, service, installation, and 24hr UL Alarm Monitoring for: Intrusion, Fire, Medical Alerts,Panic & Hold-up Alarms, Refrigeration Monitoring, CCTV and Access Control systems. We also accept system transfers from other companies. We offer nationwide alarm monitoring.
 
Question:How did you first become interested in your line of business?, What is your background?
Answer:I began working for a local alarm company at age 17 working my way through all the different aspects of the company until I was made operations manager. I was then offered a job at another local company again working in different areas of the company becoming a territory sales manager for that company.
 
Question:How do you differentiate yourself from other security companies?
Answer:Well allot of companies use gimmicks and little white lies to get their customers. We believe in honesty, integrity, quality service, professionalism to obtain our clients and that is another difference about ERT Security, we believe that our "customers" are our clients because they are, we work as partners in their protection just as a lawayer or other professional would. We consistantly try to exceed our clients expectations and we don't cut corners, we are dealing with peoples lives and property and there is no room for second best or second rate anything. Our warranty matches whatever monitoring term that the client chooses, we don't lock them into what we want we work with what their needs are and their budgets. We keep our overhead low so that we can pass the savings onto our clients by offering the lowest prices that we can without compromising our quality, workmanship or standards. I could keep going on at what sets us apart from everyone else all I know is that I take what I do personally to heart, I know what I would expect, I know the games that other companies play with people and I keep my clients needs my first priority.
 
Question:How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Answer:ERT Security currently has three central areas the first being located in Ashtabula County covering Ashtabula, Lake, Geauga, Trumbull, Portage, Mahoning, Cuyahoga Counties, N.W. Pa and surrounding communities. We have a sub office in Akron, Ohio covering Stark, Summit and surrounding communities and lastly we have a small office in Cincinnati, Ohio covering Hamilton, Butler, Clermont County, N.W. Kentucky and S.E. Indiana. We are always looking to expand into new areas and putting more people to work.
 
Question:Do your clients come to you ?
Answer:The nice thing about ERT Security is we come and cater to you.
 
Question:What type of payments do you accept?
Answer:Cash, Check, Money Orders, Travelers Checks, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Pay Pal. We also offer Net terms in some circumstances, Financing and leasing.
 
Question:Which areas do you service?
Answer:Ashtabula, Lake, Geauga, Trumbull, Portage, Mahoning, Cuyahoga Counties, N.W. Pa and surrounding communities. We have a sub office in Akron, Ohio covering Stark, Summit and surrounding communities and lastly we have a small office in Cincinnati, Ohio covering Hamilton, Butler, Clermont County, N.W. Kentucky and S.E. Indiana. But our UL Listed central station is available to clients anywhere in the United States.
 
Question:Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Answer:I believe that our clients own the company, if we didn't cater to our clients needs we wouldn't even be here. We have a full range of qualified and professional staff that work as a family it takes everyone to make sure we don't ever fall under our standards of operation 24 hours a day.
 
Question:What are your hours of operation?
Answer:Our UL Listed Alarm Monitoring station is manned by real people 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our service staff is also available 24 hours a day. Our business office hours are 9am-5pm. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day though.
